Amana 7.1 Cu. Ft. Super Capacity Electric Dryer Review
"After 2 years, this completly conked out and under warrenty the tradesman could not fix it after 3 long attemptsand waiting for parts for a 2 months. It is unfixable. Lose my warrenty will have to settle for depreciation of dryer and will have tp put more money and time into a new one. This is a lemon, total junk it falls apart after Amanas warrenty expires, cannot be fixed and the value that the warrenty people will,give is less than what a new dryer cost plus the 300.00 in warrenty costs are lost and the hassle of going through this, now I have to go through there process of claims and knowing I have to eat dirt on all the losses andbeing patient and buying a warrenty , I am the consumer that loses with Home depots warrenty and Amana does not back up product and now waiting to get my meger refund or try to waste more time on adryer. I am a disgusted consumer that has been given the runaround and noone stood behind me through this ordeal, the warrenty is set up to protect the company and not the consumer and Amana has to weak of a product that is unfixable after2 years or less, my advice run far away from this dryer and the 3 year warrenty that gs services will not replace a new one but give you its age value even though prices go up, I wanted a dryer comparable but will seek a big loss from Gs Home depot warrenty and cannot believe the hassle gs services has put me through making me go through 2 months without a dryer and not being able to repair this product 3 times and not giving me a new dryer in a timely manner but making me go through claims and forfeit my warrenty and cash out with way less than any new dryer and no refund for warrenty. This is shameful for people who keep Gs in buisness and Amana. I have lots of laundry and the hassle of going to laundromat for 2 months and noone cares and I am now waiting for my meger cashout and lost nonrefunded warrenty and I look at the dryer Amana sold me still sitting in my house non fixable.Ps. Home depots representatives are very helpful and care but Gs warrenty and Amana was dissapointing, this does not reflect home depot but Amana and the dissapointing expieriece with Gs warrenty. I am rating Amana as poor and Gs warrenty as poor, Homedepot customer service are top notch though and were the only salvation to this mess."
