Works good, but noisy!

"[...] It has no handle and must be pressed in lower right corner to open. It cooks potatoes excellent when you use the potato button. Frozen convenience meals may have to go on a half-minute longer than package directions. Read the owner's manual for trying to change the power level or do 2-stage cooking as it's a little involved. On the Instant Cook Chart in the manual I wish they would have said how long the cook time is for the different items.



The CONS are: the turntable rattles excessively; very noisy. If we stop the microwave and start it again, sometimes the turntable will go in the opposite direction and won't be so loud, but sometimes it has to be repeated several times before the rattling will quiet down a little. The beeps are annoyingly loud. When you press a button to put in the cooking time, it beeps. When it signals the end of the cooking time, it gives off 3 very loud beeps. When you cook potatoes it will beep 5 times even louder half-way through to tell you to turn over the potatoes. In my opinion, there are too many beeps and they are way too loud. This may be good if you're at the far side of a large house and need to hear the signal. If you're in an apartment, it's way too loud. We get around this by just pressing the 1-minute button in increments and opening the door before it reaches the end. One more thing, you need to keep a little space in back of the microwave for air circulation, but every time you press a button or push the door open it wants to slide back. So you may want to put a small piece of wood on the counter to prevent it from sliding backwards."
