"I bought this 9000 BTU A/C in the middle of a heat wave.

It was the cheapest portable A/C on the net at the time (with 7000 BTU or more) @ $271.XX after taxes.

It does the job, but its VERY loud (which works for me because I live on a busy street).

If the hose that connects it to the window were somehow insulated, I would be happier (as the hot air being pumped out heats the hose and clearly escapes into the room); but again price is KING and this thing was like $150 less @ J&R than anywhere else.

I will be a repeat customer @ J&R Park Row.
