"I've been buying American Telecom's phones since [...] began offering them. Some are absolutely awful (I've thrown some away), some are OK and some are pretty good. This is one of the pretty good ones. While it does not have a headphone jack, it has a reasonably good speaker phone that I have found I like to use. It's also very nice that only one of up to 4 handsets need be connected to a phone line and the others can be programmed to that one base and placed anywhere where there is an electrical outlet that a phone is wanted. It comes with free long distance minutes (activation required for the rebate which makes it free after rebate), and this is nice because I like using those minutes for overseas calling since the rates are very reasonable and the call quality is excellent. All in all, I like this one the best of what I've received from American Telecom and would recommend this model."
