"Be careful on J&R's web site to ensure you are buying the second generation Ipod Touch and not the first generation. Look in the description for Nike Plus built-in support. I was sent the wrong one and had to return it. [...] I am one of those "IBM only" kind of girls, but the Ipod Touch has definitely changed my opinion about Apple. The touch screen is very sturdy (just make sure to buy a rubber cover for the back as it scratches) and it couldn't be easier to use. The Ipod Touch is the most reliable and sturdiest device to use for Nike+ running.One thing to point out is that, although the 2nd gen has internal speakers (which is a big plus), they are very weak and cannot handle heavier music. For decent sound you will need headphones or a docking stereo.Note: third-party software downloaded to the Ipod Touch can crash it from time to time, giving you a black screen. If you hold the power button and the menu button together for 10 seconds, it will reset and you'll be good to go!"
