"Used with Canon XH-A1 HDV camcorder for family event capture and in noisy environments. Very good directionality and sensitivity with reasonable noise. I shot video of our dog running around the yard chasing a ball and the audio of leaves rustling beneath her feet and her breathing is clear and crisp up to distances of 20 feet without a lot of extraneous noise from airplanes overhead. I'm very happy with the quality of build and it's light enough to not add much weight to the camera. It's too long to keep on the camera in the camera bag I have but this can't be helped if you want a very directional shotgun mike."
