"I purchased this DW a couple of weeks ago for its compact size and needed it to be stainless steel. It works and looks fine, but rather noisy (no soundguard). More importantly though, they could have done a lot better job in its knobs/dials. They are noisy, cranky, not smooth. Interior could have been designed a whole lot better, too. Sure it is small (and that's the whole point of purchasing it) but the baskets/wires etc are not working comfortably and smoothly enough (compared to other DWs I used). My bottomline is I think since they do not have competitor brands out there for this size and stainless, they did not bother to do a better job (which should not increase the cost...there are many larger, higher-tech, better designed ones out there that are cheaper) in its design."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
