"This is my first carbon fiber, being a Bogen/Manfrotto fan forever. If you are making the jump to CF, you should look into Benro. Like others, I compared it to Induro (Benro, in China, makes both), Gitzo, and other. There is no reason to pay the extra $$ for Induro, there is very little from a build point of view that warrants the difference in price. The operation of this tripod is top shelf and compares to Gitzo. The locking mechanisms are solid. If you must have brand name and can afford it, by all means, go for it.. for the rest of us, thank you Benro."
