"I recently purchased the Benro C-258ng tipod legs and so far I am quite satisfied. I use tripods for a variety of photos, including landscapes, close-ups, and portraits.

I was surprised how light the tripod is, even with a head mounted. Often when I travel and I have to pack light I carry a Gitzo carbon monopod, but since this tripod is about the same length as the monopod and not too much heavier, I will be using this tripod for most of my travel work, and in some cases where space or time may not permit I may even use it like the monopod. The leg release is smooth and easy, and locking is secure. I like the fit and finish; the workmanship seems excellent."
