"I've used numerous hydration packs and small packs and they were often too small or heavier than necessary or had poor shoulder straps or lacked a waist belt, etc. This pack is an exceptional balance of lightweight minimalist pack while retaining durability and a comfortable and functional harness system (built in whistle on chest strap is a safety plus too...easy to miss that feature!) I use it as a small climbing/crag pack or summit pack. I mainly searched for a pack like this to climb long routes or F/As with. Can make it ride higher on the back, can hold lightweight hiking boots plus the essentials cleanly. Impressively light for its durability. Nice tip from previous review on self storage sack. The "rubber" protected lash points work. I personally would love if it had a thin mesh or nylon fabric cover pocket on the inside back panel to put a removable closed cell foam pad for comfort to prevent odd shaped objects that can poke your back. Could also be used to better hold and insulate the hydration pack than just the clip loop. Minimalist still, clean and still would be light. But overall one of my favorite and most used packs now."
