"Just got the fridge 3 days ago and there a few troublesome things. I think if we were able to actually see this fridge displayed in a store we may have had second thoughts. The lower drawers in the fridge cannot be opened more than 3" unless the door is completely swung open. Otherwise, they hit the edge of the door. Oddly enough, the freezer drawers do not have this problem. The cause is that the actual outside wall of the freezer is thicker than the outside wall of the fridge. This puts the freezer drawers further from the door hinge and they gain extra clearance. I'm sure the thicker side wall on the freezer helps with the energy efficiency, but its an obvious design flaw. Also, the ice dispenser throws crushed ice everywhere unless you hold your cup up against the dispenser exit. Regular cubed ice also comes out with velocity too. Something else that you can never preview in a store. Interior storage is OK but there should be more options for positioning the shelves as each shelf has only 2 possible positions. The 13 year old Kenmore side by side this Bosch is replacing allowed the shelves to be put in any position. On the plus side, the unit is very quite when running, much quieter than the old Kenmore. We really like the sleek styling and the recessed ice/water dispenser. Most fridges have an ugly plastic frame around the dispenser that detracts from the look. By the way, it took 2 months to get the unit delivered but this was not Sears fault. The Sears delivery guys get top ratings for their professional behavior and excellent communications. We would recommend this fridge as long as it will be installed away from side walls so that the doors can be fully opened."
