"Purchaced for a computer room/office.
Did not want any high priced cheap sounding 'computer speakers'. I do a lot of work with audio mixing and developement, therefore need loudspeakers that are accurate and natural sounding. The speakers are connected to my computer with the Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Elite Pro via a Harman Kardon HK3485 reciever rated at 120 watts per channel @ 8ohms.
The sound is crisp, clear, and the bass is tight.
Being a direct reflecting design, they even sound good if you are forced to place them close together.
For the size, these sound amazing.
The bottom line...these speakers do not dissapoint!"
