"I have been using earbuds all my life. So I was thrilled when I heard that Bose was finally releasing earbuds. I have long thought that Bose produced superior quality sound. I was sadly disappointed. For 99 dollars this product is a complete rip off. First of all, the sound was to my ear no different. I have to keep the volume up almost all the way to hear the same sound I bought from a JVC earbud set when the volume is barely more then 1/5 the amount. Second this "revolutionary" design to fit ears did not help me in the slightest. They fell out almost every time I used them. Even on the largest earbud size. I do not have particularly large ears--but the design was not for me. Thirdly, and this is the reason NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT, the earbud replacement pads fall off really easily. If you do not store them in the leather case they offer, and let's face it, we don't always store our earbuds as we should, then putting them in your bag, on a table, or on the seat beside you is the perfect way to get the bud cover ripped right off. I lost one of the large size, so I had to replace it with a medium size. Then, walking down the street last night, I took them out and discovered to my horror that another was gone. Try replacing them. Just try it. Every other ear bud manufacturer offers earbud replacements. Not these guys. I'm sure they exist somewhere, in some warehouse, but a casual perusal of their site, and a longer search on this site reveals the awful truth. Getting replacement earbuds for this model, is too much work. I'm already more pleased with my JVC HA-FX66-A earbuds, which are a snazzy blue."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
