"I was looking forward to liking this speaker. It looks pretty cool and looks like the perfect fit for any area in or outside of the house that speaker wires are not practical. So I bought one. Then the fun began. The first speaker sounded terrible and only worked for about a week. I would have taken it back right away but the store we too far. The second speaker sounded much better than the first. I was happy with the sound however the reception was spotty. It worked only sometimes even though it was only about 18 feet away from the base. I am going to return it this weekend. I do not know if there are better speakers but these do not work as advertised."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
