"I took up golf again this year after a 15 year hiatus. I was looking to get as good of a set of irons and woods as I could on a pretty small budget. I ran across the callawaypreowned site after a google search. I didn't want to spend too much money, especially since I was unsure how much I'd be playing. Well, I got the "bug" again pretty bad and I'm overall happy that I purchased a 3-SW set of the X-14s this spring. The golf technology has improved so dramatically since I stopped playing in the early 90s, so I think that these irons are at least as comparable as the Pine Eye 2's I used to play. I like their look a lot and I ended up going super budget and getting the "average" condition set, and I thought they were in pretty decent shape. I do think I've lost about almost a club distance, but again, the last time I was playing I was a little younger, so maybe that's the reason. But I'd certainly recommend these clubs to just about anyone, especially to those on a budget. Truth be told, if I had the money, I'd upgrade to something more like the X-20 Tours. I'd also recommend this callawaypreowned site to other people looking for golf equipment. It's been a breeze to use and there are pretty good bargains (make sure to check out the "Clearance Center") and the service is solid. And besides, Callaway makes some pretty good clubs. Good luck!"
