"I knew nothing about binoculars so I did internet research and finally decided on the Celestron 20 x 80. We live in an area overlooking a large wildlife area. The views range up to ~ 1,000 yards. These binoculars allow us to view objects we never realized were there! Now we can not only find birds we've never seen before but we can almost tell the color of their eyes. We also are avid RV travelers and these binoculars really bring in a whole new perspective. A recent trip to Mount Rushmore was much more enjoyable with these binoculars (see picture). I let a couple of people look thru them and with the comments made about the clarity and general view I had many more "Just a quick look" requests. They are big and heavy but I knew that before I bought them. I just figured thats the price you pay for basically having two telescopes welded together. With these binoculars I have no desire to look for anything better."
