"I have had my Dacor for just over a year and I am not all that impressed. A repairman had to come out and reset the thermostat because it was off and them he came out again because the clock display lights were not all lighting up. That was about 7 months ago and now the display lights are going out again. The other thing I don't like is that it takes forever to preheat. In fact, the repairman told me to wait another 10 minutes or so after the desired temperature light comes on in order to make sure to temperature is correct. That means it takes about 25 minutes to get to the right temp. This is a very expensive oven and I thought it had a good reputation, but I am sorry I bought it and will never get another one or recommend the brand to any of my friends!"

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

"Too bad the electronics don't seem to hold up well. Although I have to say I try to preheat the oven at least 30 minutes before I use it just to make sure that not only is it up to temp but that it's stable. Otherwise the heaters will fire up again and the food will cook unevenly."
