"These work but you must watch how you take it. First of all, they must be taken at least an hour before mealtime to be effective and I take 2 in the morninbg which lasts me through most of the day but then I take 2 about 4pm for the evening meal and wait about an hour and take 2 more as the evening is my most difficult time. The previous person stated correctly that they will not be effective if you are an emotional or depressed eater, you must plan your nutrition with these and also I agree with the writer that suggested charting fluid intake to be safe, that can get real tricky, I found in the beginning I would get hungry before I got thirsty, I found the pills more effective against thirst than hunger. I also implement a walking routine several times a day for about 20 minutes on a treadmill. I started out at 274 and am down to 212 but obviously have much longer to go, and I pray these keep working for me however, I am maxed out on the dosage. I am 54. Nothing worked with menopause and hoodia was a last resort before requesting gastric bypass. i wouldn't consider taking a stimulant at my age. I am 5'8" so I have another 60 or 70 pounds to drop ideally and will increase activity as I go. I see a doctor every 3 weeks just for blood pressure, heart rate, and weight checks, he seems to be interested in the hoodia. I do find when the hoodia wears off it is sudden and a deep hunger, I usually drink a glass of warm water right away and take another 1 or 2 pills. I have had no ill effects yet."
