"The lead glides on the page unlike other pencils. The strokes are smooth and the eraser acutally erases without other marks. You can give me 100 other pencils and I will be happy with one of the Dixon Ticonderoga's. Besides, one the great battles of the American Revolution was fought at Ticonderoga! What could be more patriotic than using their pencils."
