"I have bought two boxes of this product so far and have used it on two new scars. I started applying the strips (cut in half, one for each scar) when my stitches were removed and the wounds closed. They stick well but come off easily if they get wet from sweat or water and start getting nasty within a few days from dirt, fuzz, pet hairs sticking to the edges. I wore the strips for anywhere from 10 to 20 hours a day, used the oil when I wasn't wearing the silicone pads, and waited 14 weeks. I see no real difference and I have been taking pictures once a week; nothing more than healing without the pads would look. I tried taping the pads on when I would sleep but most of the time they come off anyway. I used exactly as directed: washed and stored on the foil packet but after 6 wks I had to buy new pads because the old ones go so gross. These will not last three months despite what the packaging claims."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
