"Pros: With a lower price tag than some competitive models, I was skeptical, but the DVDX8285 surprised me with great features, good quality video & ease of installation.

Cons: The sound is great at higher volumes, however at lower volumes; some "hiss" and alternator noise pass through. The control menus are a little goofy & take some getting use to.

Overall I am very pleased with this unit, great value overall, Dual could put a little more into their instruction manual as it is a little vague and as I mentioned earlier the sound quality at lower volumes could stand to be improved. Also the unit I received does not allow the use of SDHC cards, only SD, watch that one when you go buying cards."

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
