"We bought this for my 8 yr old son last xmas ('07), it was easy to put together but took a lot of fiddling around to get any light onto the bare scope, but as soon as you insert a slide it blocks the light. It's virtually impossible to see anything.

I won't even mention the bits of carpet fibre they try and pass off as 'unspecific animal samples', it's a total joke.

Cheap it is, but being cheap doesn't mean it's worth it. Save your money."
