"As a former Marine I am more then a little particular about the appearance of my clothes. The Shark is the first iron I have owned that does it all and does it well. The thing is heavy and that helps. It has a very good water capacity and that limits the number of refills needed when working. It heats up fast and has a very powerful blast of steam when needed. It sprays water where I needed it on wrinkles easily. It makes short work of wrinkled cotton khaki's and cotton shirts. The blast of steam is also useful for anything that needs to be steamed such as curtains or whatever. The blast of steam, when held upright goes out about two feet from the iron with considerable force. I recently used it on a wall tapestry that was a little wrinkled our of the shipping box. The cord is much longer then other irons I have used. I have dropped this thing a couple of times. That would have been the end of lesser irons. No problem with the Shark. Great machine!
