Finally satisfied

"I purchased this wash machine from a local retailer. I decided to pass on their delivery and set up fee and do it myself. I had an easy enough time with the hook up. It was not very difficult. I then turned it on to test the machine. It filled with water and then began to agitate. So far so good. I continued on with a different project. 90 minutes later the washer was still agitating. The cycle dial had not moved. It was like a clock that was wound too tight. I had a brand new defective HYDROWAVE. The retailer initially wanted to send a repair man. I wouldn't have it. I went through a HUGE amount of arguing with my local retailer. Eventually, I had a new machine delivered, setup, and the defective unit removed.

It has been 3 weeks with the HYDROWAVE. I enjoy the quiet washing cycles. The salesman told me it was belt driven(no transmission) and it has a suspension system to keep the machine from walking across the floor with an unbalanced load. The size is adequate to wash a large comforter. The machine does not use as much water as I expected it to use to wash. You don't want to overfill the tank with clothes because they probably won't get cleaned.

I found the price to be reasonable, all things considered. The machine washes the clothes nicely without aggressive agitation. I'm overall satisfied with the HYDROWAVE washer. I would recommend this washer to a friend. I would also recommend that anybody buying a new appliance first research a store's return policy. This item was not purchased from BEST BUY. Good Washing."
