"I didn't think you could find an electret condenser microphone, diversity receiver, UHF and frequency agility at this pricepoint and worried that the tradeoff would be quality, but after borrowing one of these for a stage music performance I was surprised that the sound rivaled a good corded handheld and the RF performance was solid. After the performance I bought one, finding the Abes price the best, though the Gemini website says it won't honor the factory warranty because Abes isn't an authorized dealer. The price was good enough to risk that.

The build quality seems fine. The bodypack has a soft touch surface and feels rugged. The headset is very lightweight and because of the behind-the-neck design, stays put even in active performances.

I tested distance up to 75 feet through several walls and found no drop-outs.

As an added bonus, you can remove the microphone from the neck bracket and use the supplied clip to use the mic as a wireless lapel microphone. The bodypack transmitter can also be set for line level signals should you need to feed it with something other than a mic."
