"I got this MP3 player coming from an iPod Video ( It went through the wash and I didn't have the money for a new one ).

I was surprised at how well this little thing worked. First of all, it's tiny, and yet has 4gb of storage. Controls are responsive, it's easy to put music on, it looks nice, and it even has a built in radio! Best of all, it doesn't use any special software like iTunes or Windows Media, you load songs onto it just by dragging files onto the disk. ( Though I've discovered you CAN use software like WinAMP to put music on it, don't recommend doing so though as WinAMP is rather buggy )

My only pet peeve is that choosing 'Play All' with shuffle enabled can take some time to load if you have a lot of music on it. My guess is that it has to figure out the whole playlist at once by shuffling all your music, when really it should just pick random songs one at a time, which would be much faster. This isn't much of a problem though, so I'd still definitely recommend getting it.

I'm having another problem with it at the moment, but I think the issue is on my end. Some of my music comes up on the Gigaware as 'Unknown Artist' and 'Unknown Album', even though the artist and album are clearly defined. I'm pretty sure that there is just something wrong with those files though, not the Gigaware."

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
