"I bought this tripod for my Canon 1Ds Mark III and my heavier lenses. It performs as per product discription - very study. Once I got used to the opening of the legs, it's very easy and quick to set it up. I bought the 1 1/2" spike feet, but wish I would have bought the longer ones for more grip in soils."
