"Used the product in the upstairs of an old home with one heating system but dual a/c. Am using for the upstairs a/c - able to set up program w/o booklet. However, reading the book enabled me to eliminate the whole heating cyle display thereby simplifying the D2D use - great feature in my mind. Like the backlight and like that the battery isn't the power source when system is in "off" mode."

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
