"I've been doing a lot more weddings lately and my old tripod just wasn't helping in the long-distance church shots. It was a cheapy that had separate levers to adjust which took too much time. I wanted a ball tripod but most of them are 2 separate pieces - the ball and the legs - which are very expensive. But then I found this Induro and took a chance since it didn't have any reviews yet. It is SO easy to adjust with just one lockdown lever; the motion is smooth both horizontal and vertical; it stays locked down and doesn't drift with even my heavy 70-300 lens; the legs extend easily and quickly and lock well. I did a wedding this weekend and it worked great. It was a short service so I had to work fast to get the rings, the candle, the kiss, etc.

My only problem, which is my problem not the Induro's, is that I couldn't remove my camera from the tripod fast enough to catch one last shot of them coming down the aisle at the end. You have to squeeze the double-locking mechanism to remove the camera and I just need to practice that since it's different than my old tripod.

Another nice little feature is you don't need a coin for the mounting plate! It has a flip-up handle to loosen/tighten it down on your camera. Maybe they all have that now, but my old tripod didn't so this was a nice surprise. Great for me since I don't always have a coin on me. And it has a bag with a strap to carry it. Very handy while lugging all your gear around. It's the little things....

Very nice tripod!"

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
