"I am a wild flower and nature photographer. The tripod is solid, legs lock well and the ballhead and quick camera adaptor make setup quick and easy. I like the short column for low angle shots of flowers. The short column stays on the tripod most of the time. It is light for an aluminum tripod. The weight doesn't stop me from carring it on 1/2 day or full day hikes.

Whats not great? It's not carbonfiber, but I traded weight for dollars."
