"I bought an I-Sonic Snap-Box 40 back in late June 2008. I used it daily for short periods of time and somedays all day at work. By the beginning of August the headphone jack had shorted out or something, but it wouldn't work It was still under the manufacturer's warranty, so I returned it--with proof of purchase and a $10 money order to cover return shipping. By the end of August they had replaced it with a Snap-Box X-45. I use this everyday at work. Love the FM tuner in it. I used it when I walk in the evenings too. Nothing strenuous, just walking. Played great. After I had this new one for about 4 or 5 weeks, it stopped taking a charge. I called I-Sonic (took me a couple of days to get ahold of anyone (they do not return messages left). They said to return it and they will replace it. I will get it replaced, but I think I will also buy another one--not an I-Sonic. It has (obviously) been my experience that these are junk. They do shut off by themselves--I could deal with that, but I can't keep paying postage 2 ways to mail junk back & forth. I would not recommend this. The ones I had were 4gb. Just a total waste of money as far as I am concerned."

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
