"While this little chest freezer won't hold a whole cow, it is an excellent option for someone who wants to free up space in the "regular" freezer and lay in a year's supply of blueberries, home-grown corn, banana bread, or farmers-market goodies.

a) It's relatively inexpensive to buy and run

b) The box fits in a minivan (not in a smaller car...) in case you don't want to pay a delivery fee, and two (not very athletic) people can carry it up or down stairs. Unpacking and setting it up took about 30 min.

c) You can plug it into any grounded outlet, and the compressor is less noisy than the compressor on my regular fridge.

d) Contents on the bottom layer are hard to access (that is why it's called a "deep" freeze, I guess!). Get some plastic bins or cardboard boxes to help organize the contents; there is one tiny sliding basket but you will probably want more interior organization."
