"We bought this dishwasher from Sears in August 2006, and it has never worked. Sears couldn't fix it, so I finally called KitchenAid and they sent another service provider, A & E, to see if they could fix it. After standing us up for three appointments, they showed up but couldn’t fix it. Both the Sears and A & E technicians told us that this model (KitchenAid KUDD01DPPA – two drawer unit) just doesn't work. If you are thinking of buying this unit - don't. If you look at reviews you see the 'professional reviews' rate it well - even as a best buy. If you look at actual user reviews, they are all bad. Believe the users.I've spent hours on the phone with KitchenAid and they just don't seem to care and will never make it right. [...]"

"My comment about this dishwasher concerns the standing water in the bottom of either drawer depending on which one is used. The instructions say this is normal but I do not run my dishwasher every day and the water smells bad after a while unless I run a rinse cycle. Would love to hear other comments about this model"
