"This is our second unit. We bought our first in 1998, and it has made as many as 8 pots a day, every day, for ten years. We bought this one as a replacement (there is nothing wrong with the old one, we just wanted a new one), and it is nice to see that Krups has not changed the design, except to make it better. Where the old machine had glass-lined carafes, this new one is stainless steel inside and out. The only thing (minor) that we do not like about the machines (new and old) is that there is a small hole in the back, in between the two water reservoirs. If you overfill the reservoir, water can leak out that hole. It's doing what it was designed to do, but we always put a piece of tape across it. Who doesn't like more coffee, right?

Overall, this is a great machine, and I can only thank Krups for designing such a well-made product."
