"I can't believe a few people thought this was a noisy microwave.Maybe they previously owned a very small,low wattage unit.It is the quiest one I have ever owned(I had the salesman run the floor model before I bought it).It also cooks more efficiently than my previous Kenmore microwave which was 1200 watts(and went dead in 7 months).When new you have to remove the plastic wrap type cover that encircles the whole unit except the back.It is hard to see and hard to remove.I should have done it with the salesman at the store.This is a quiet,efficient,compact but powerful microwave at a low price."
