"This 22-in. unit was purchased, after much searching, to replace a 24-in. over-the-oven Litton microwave that had become unreliable, after 23 years. It turns out that most units being manufactured now are 30 inches or more. The old unit and oven under it are built into a brick wall. I took all the facings off, but am unable to remove the old unit.

So, the new one is sitting on the counter.

But, it works fine."
