"Though I was somewhat leary of buying this washer (and the accompanying dryer)because of price, unfamiliarity with the LG brand, etc, I'm more than satisfied. I tried to do all my homework but there always seem to be a few people who have problems with any appliance. This has about a dozen settings and though I was concerned that front load washers couldn't soak stained clothes, the cleaning ability of this machine makes that irrelevant. Endless combinations of time/delicacy options are available and though the High Efficiency detergent is never on sale, much less of it is used to get the clothes clean -and it does clean very well. Very happy with both the machines and the service and ability of AJ Madison to work around the details of shipping, setting up and removing the old machines. The control panels can be moved to allow either stacking of the machines or using them side by side. Why has NO ONE else thought of this great feature? Good experience all around."
