Effective, and space saving!
"We purchased this dryer almost 6 months ago now. We live in a small 2 bedroom condominium and space is very limited. We purchased this dryer and its matching washer counterpart specifically to give us more storage space. As with the stacked washer and dryer, our laundry room now can store much more.
The dryer is quieter than our previous model and works very well.
It does not over dry your clothes, so if you use the automatic drying settings, you won't even have to restretch your jeans when you first wear them after a wash. Most of the time, I use the automatic dryer settings. This can leave clothes slightly cool to the touch, ever so slightly damp. I just select to have them "more dry" when first setting up the dry cycle and they come out perfect without damaging your clothes.
My only complaint would be that when I dry large bedding items (polyester stuffed queen comforter), they do not dry in the center if I use the automatic settings and also, if you don't use delicate cycle it can melt the stuffing. Therefore, it takes a very long time to dry even though it doesn't hold a lot of moisture in itself. A trick I have learned is to dry it on medium settings for a cylce, then take it out and readjust so the wetter areas are on the outside, and dry it again using medium settings. I use a 40 minute time dry for these cyles.
Other than the akwardness of drying large items, I am extremely pleased with this dryer and have recommended it to my sister and some friends already!"
