"I chose this washer as compromise between a cheap ------- and the more expensive ------- that I liked. It saved space by stacking and it looked nice, the timer isn't loud and annoying and it saved water and electricity. After buying it I heard that my friend with the same washer was going back to a top-loader. I guess all water miser front loaders would have the same problem of taking a looong time to wash and using sooo little water you don't see how your clothes can be clean. The really long washing time is helped by a shorter drying time.I was still satisfied because I needed the space and I couldn't afford more. My biggest complaint was that you cannot just select a spin cycle- you have to at least rinse and spin. This is normally okay but I have found several times that I just need to squeeze some water out. For example, I paused a load to balance it and forgot to get back to it. The machine turned off. I could not go back and start the spin cycle again. I had to rinse and spin.I heard front loaders wear out your clothing because they are tossed and dropped for an hour to "beat' the dirt out. I don't know. But I have had mine six months and it is broken. I am waiting for the control panel and the control board to be replaced. I didn't expect this in six months. So, it may not happen to everyone, but 6 months seems pretty early to need a new control board. And the cycle names are completely washing off- as if they were written with dry erase."
