"I had some apprehension when I bought these monitors because the guy that I bought my MIDI keyboard from [...] was throwing the word "Interface" around a lot when we were talking about them, but they were already ordered and I didn't have the funds for an interface in my budget at the time. So, I thought that the speakers were going to arrive and I wouldn't be able to use them. So, when they got here I took them out of the box and hooked them up to my laptop's headphone jack with a double 1/4" to single 3.5mm y-cable expecting the sound to be all fuzzy or for them to explode or something. I was happily mistaken because my house began to rumble when I turned to volume up. Bottom line- Excellent sound, excellent monitor. (Especially with the price tag that BH put on them.)"
