"This dishwasher replaced my highly recommended Whirlpool dishwasher. The Whirlpool only lasted one year and 4 months! Then the motor burned out. HOWEVER, this Maytag model is an adequate dishwasher. It is a bit loud, but I don't mind, as I run it when the kids are asleep. It cleans well and after a period of adjustment, I don't mind the racks. It fits all of my dishes and there are a lot, as I don't use throw away items. I usually only run it once a day. After my experience with the Whirlpool, I purchased the extended warranty, but I am hoping I don't have to use it. I have been happy with this purchase SO FAR. The cleaning cycle is about 1 hour with about 30 minutes of drying time, which I don't use. I just open it up. P.S. I swore never to purchase another Whirlpool, but you would be surprised how many other names Whirlpool owns. Maytag is owned by Whirlpool."

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
