"We bought this unit based on previous history with Maytag products.....quite a mistake on our part. This unit is nothing like any of our previous Maytag washers. Cheaply built, VERY noisy. If it lasts more than a couple months I will be seriously surprised. Not sure what happened to quality control, but my guess is the "Maytag repairman" will be very busy in the near future!"

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
