"It works very well on new scars. You will have no trouble seeing results. It takes much longer to see results on old scars. My skin is prone to keloid, so I keep Mederma on hand at all times and try to treat all new scars. It doesn't take much time to get rid of them -- especially if you work to prevent infection and then use Mederma once the scar is closed.
