"I read a few articles that suggested that the 4-inch/3-lb density is the MINIMUM quality of foam topper that you should get to make sure it doesn't wear and to prevent hotspots from the mattress below.

In any case, I bought 1 for my queen guest bed and one for my king. The Queen topper fit a little too big for my mattress, so I just took some scissors and cut it to size. Easy! I sleep through the night now, and sleep on my back or side in comfort. All of my visitors rave about the comfort of the guest bed as well. Highly recommended."
