"These are the best athletic shoes I have ever owned. I'm on my third pair and am going to buy a 4th for a reserve pair when these wear out.

From the moment I put them on for the first time, my feet felt at home. There is no adjustment period. I love not having laces, although I carry a shoe horn with me everywhere as they are hard to get on without one.

I trail hike and trail run, street run and do elliptical and treadmill at the gym. These shoes are perfect for all my exercising endeavors as well as being comfortable to wear in non-exercise situations.

Shoes, even Merrells which are my favorites, if the shank is too stiff will make the balls of my feet numb. These shoes have a very forgiving shank.

Now if only they'd make them Gortex with NO leather, they'd be perfect."
