"There are other shavers that may be just a tad closer (Braun), but in my experience, they're not as gentle, and they're harder to clean, and they're more expensive. This is a great way to shave: painless, very quiet. I've had Norelcos for many years (till their batteries wouldn't charge -- usually about 10 years) and this is the best one yet. And the price was unbeatable."
