"I got the Newport 2.5 and the feeling is solid and confidence inspiring. I replaced a 12 year old Ping that I thought would go to the grave with me but this new putter makes the Ping feel like a lump of metal stuck on a hickory stick. Very smooth feeling through the ball and a well balanced motion. It has a very satisfying sound when the ball is struck and does not seem to cause any skip off the clubface. Great putter...thanks Scotty."
