"I ordered the matress pad because I also ordered memory foam for my bed and had heard that it could be really hot without something between myself and the foam... I must say, even though the height of the bed plus the height of the memory foam is quite thick... the material to go around the sides and corners is amazing!!! It covers it all and stays put!!! The only very very small concern I had (the reason for giving a 4 on fabric quality) was the top of the pad itself... It wasn't as soft as I would have liked, almost having a stiff feel to it. However, you cannot feel the stiffness through the sheets and therefore I am extremely pleased with the product. A must buy, especially for the price!"
