"I bought a pair of these for my wife, who loves to watch the birds in our yard. The image is very bright and clear. 8x is perfect for viewing wildlife. Much easier to use than higher magnification binoculars and it allows you to quickly bring the binoculars into play when you spot an interesting bird. I ordered these from B&H while travelling in Hong Kong. [...] I love Nikons. You can't do better unless you want to spend hundreds more for German optics and frankly they aren't that much better.
