"I've never owned a surround sound system before, but all of my buddies swear by them. I was originally looking at your typical Best Buy surround sound setups, where you end up with Sh **ty speakers and a DVD player. Now that I own this system, I can guarantee that Surround is a necessity and this system won't let you down. The receiver alone is worth the purchase. Four HDMI inputs and no pass through bs. The only knock I have is that the speakers are big, but they sound great to me. The sub is a little bit inaccurate, but I can't complain. I love this system for both the quality and the price. I could have paid 3/4s of what I did just for the receiver."
